Using a unique method called Focused Pressure Release Technique (FPRT), you can become a hands-on practitioner that offers wellness, pain relief, and holistic therapy to your own clients. This method takes less time to learn, and you will become a full practitioner at your own pace.

Focused Pressure Release Therapy (FPRT) is a type of manual and hands- on therapy that promotes muscle relaxation through specific techniques. The treatment method is akin to Myofascial Release Therapy (MRT), a form of manual therapy that uses pressure and stretching techniques to release tension in the body’s connective tissues. Similar to MFT, the goal of FPRT is to restore normal alignment and mobility to inhibited areas, promote healing, reduce pain, and improve overall wellbeing. This therapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions, such as chronic pain, strain injuries, headaches, postural misalignments, and more. By using gentle manual touch techniques, practitioners are able to identify restrictions in the fascia and muscles and then use their hands or other tools to apply focused pressure in order to release the built-up tension. This helps restore proper alignment and function while also reducing inflammation and promoting circulation. This is not massage, but rather a specialized method of providing hands-on therapy.

Why FPRT?

The goal of FPRT Academy is to teach this new hands-on technique to individuals looking to start a wellness practice by delivering pain relief through manual therapy. For many years, the majority of the hands-on practices were reserved for licensed healthcare professionals, meaning that people needed to undergo intense schooling programs and be licensed in order to deliver these therapies.

While FPRT Academy does not license anyone to become a therapist, you can become a certified practitioner and will be able to use your new skills to create your own practice, open your own business, or add to your existing health and wellness practice. We want everyone to have access to wellness, health, and holistic practices that will serve more people, and this means that more and more people in pain can be helped.

This program gives you certification, and you can complete it at your own pace, but we make sure that everyone puts in the work to master it and makes sure that it is safely carried out after completing the course work.

This enables you to earn a new skill, create your own client base, or start a profitable practice for half the time and cost it takes to go back to school.
